Today’s preliminary stage of the Wiltshire to Hook Cycle route ended at The Church of St John the Baptist, Shipton Moyne. Rev Philip Ball and 3 more of the St Mary’s team have completed a ‘ride in’ of an additional 27 miles starting from Devizes, where Thomas Sotheron Estcourt was an MP and where there is a statue of him in the town square.
